Gellar in Talks for 'Veronika'

(FROM VARIETY) – Sarah Michelle Gellar is in final talks for a starring role in the indie drama Veronkia Decides to Die. The story is about a depressed woman who finds the will to live only after learning that a recent suicide attempt has done irreparable damage to her heart and left her with just days left to live. Emily Young (Kiss of Life) is set to direct the project, which had previously set Kate Bosworth to star. Gellar was recently in The Air I Breathe and will next be seen in the romantic thriller Possession. (Variety)
