(FROM VARIETY) – HBO has passed on the series 12 Miles of Bad Road, which stars Lily Tomlin, after previously ordering 10 episodes of the hourlong comedy. Variety reports that HBO insiders said they ultimately felt the show's creative vision wasn't right for the channel. Six episodes of the series were shot before shutting down production due to the writers' strike. Executive producers Linda Bloodworth-Thomason and Harry Thomason are shopping the show elsewhere.
