Sweet as salt, the ''romantic comedy'' Three to Tango follows bumbling architect Oscar (Perry), assigned to tail his boss' mistress (Campbell) because tee-hee he's assumed to be gay and thus a safe bet not to sleep with her. Veering wildly from mildly amusing to offensive (one scene finds Oscar running down the street, screaming and pulling his hair because people think he's gay), neither Perry's desperate pratfalling nor the false pro-gay ending can save this nasty little confection, which feels less screwball than just screwed up.
