50 Cent in Talks for 'Spectacular Regret'

(FROM VARIETY) – 50 Cent is in negotiations for a role in Spectacular Regret, an independently-financed movie that will mark actor Joshua Leonard's dramatic feature debut as a director. Fiddy will play a death row inmate whose imminent execution has made him a cause celebre. The story also involves the interconnected stories of four Angelenos struggling to overcome past events. Danny Huston, John Ortiz, and Kelli Garner are already on board to star. In addition to directing, Leonard, who starred in Blair Witch Project, also scripted Regret. He previously co-directed the documentary Beautiful Losers. (Variety)
