It's always nice to see Arnold doing what he does best gun in hand, triumphing over nigh-insurmountable odds and the perfectly cast Byrne is all velvety evil as a Satan just looking for a little actions. But the problem with this apocalyptic action-noir is that never once is the outcome truly in question. In a Hollywood movie, the devil simply can't win. Maybe he needs a better agent. B
