These youngsters with the old-hat name, The Boys, are so user-friendly that their second outing, Thanks for the Funk begins with a spoken greeting to fans and contains other sprightly, cute, nonmusical interludes as well. For the most part, the tunefully danceable songs steer clear of preciousness, leaving this junior edition's poppy soul-funk solid enough to satisfy most Bell Biv DeVoe-tees. B-
