Lucy Liu The actress is set to join ''Dirty Sexy Money,'' assuming her low-rated series ''Cashmere Mafia'' doesn't get renewed
(FROM HOLLYWOOD REPORTER)
Lucy Liu is in negotiations for a role in the upcoming second season of ABC's drama series
Dirty Sexy Money. The deal presumably hinges in part on whether a second season is granted to
Cashmere Mafia, another ABC drama in which Liu stars, though that seems unlikely given the show's low ratings. Liu would join Donald Sutherland, William Baldwin, Peter Krause, Natalie Zea, Glenn Fitzgerald, Blair Underwood, Seth Gabel, Zoe McLellan, and Jill Clayburgh in
Dirty as a series regular. She reportedly would play a lawyer. (It was recently announced that Samarie Armstrong, who plays the spoiled twin Juliet Darling, is not returning full time for the second season, though she will guest star periodically.) In addition to
Cashmere Mafia, Liu recently did an arc on ABC's
Ugly Betty, and she next voices a character in the upcoming animated movie
Kung Fu Panda. (
