Bassett Joins 'ER' Final Season

(FROM HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) – Angela Bassett will join the cast of ER as a series regular for the show's 15th and final season. She will play a tough attending with a troubled past who returns to Chicago after a few years in Indonesia doing tsunami relief. She first appears in the second episode of next season. Bassett starred in Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns, and she recently wrapped the Biggie Smalls biopic Notorious. (Hollywood Reporter)
