Spears Returning to 'Met Your Mother'

(FROM AP) – Britney Spears will return for a second guest spot on the CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother for the episode airing May 12. The singer will reprise her role as the bubbly secretary Abby. Spears first appeared on the show's March 24 episode, helping to boost ratings and receiving generally positive reviews for her comedic performance. In the upcoming episode, Abby and Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) will share their mutual dislike of Ted (Josh Radnor) and will act on it. Harris recently made headlines after talking to AP about what he thinks of Spears' appearance on the sitcom. (AP via CNN)
