Barnyard Banter: Denise Fleming
Cows, pigs, and a busybody goose are among the barnyard dwellers that sound off in Fleming's first effort since her award-winning In the Small, Small Pond. The trademark jauntiness and richly textured graphics are back, but some scenes are a muddle, and the text feels warmed-over. B
