Charlie Malarkey and the Singing Moose: William Kennedy and Brendan Kennedy; illustrated by S.D. Schindler
In a tale brimming with goofy charm, a musical moose is forced to warble tunes like ''Moosie in the Sky With Diamonds'' in a traveling circus. Noted author William Kennedy and his grown son display a Dr. Doolittle-ish flair in this lighthearted story. B+
