(FROM THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) — Esai Morales has gotten aboard the Sci-Fi Channel's proposed prequel to Battlestar Galactica. The actor is set to play Joseph Adama, father to commander William Adama (Edward James Olmos), in Caprica, a two-hour pilot that the cable outlet has in the works. Details of the possible new series are slowly emerging now that Battlestar Galactica has begun airing its fourth and final season. Actress Paula Malcomson was previously announced as a Caprica cast member. (The Hollywood Reporter)
