(FROM THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) Directors Werner Herzog (Rescue Dawn, Grizzly Man) and David Lynch (Blue Velvet, Mulholland Dr.) are teaming up to make the horror-tinged, low-budget indie My Son, My Son. The movie, a murder drama, is based on the true story of a disturbed San Diego man who acts out a Sophocles play in his mind, and kills his mother with a sword. Herzog wrote the movie with his assistant director Herbert Golder; Lynch will exec-produce. A digital video shoot is tentatively scheduled for March. (Hollywood Reporter)
