The video for 3 Doors Down's ''It's Not My Time'' follows a practitioner of parkour — a sport involving the swift surmounting of physical obstacles — as he races to avert a traffic accident. If only the song were as fleet of foot. In fact, much of the pop-metalers' fifth CD titled 3 Doors Down is overwrought: ''I left myself behind/Somewhere along the way/Hoping...to find myself someday,'' Brad Arnold sings on the predictably crescendoing ''Let Me Be Myself.'' But 3 Doors do, at times, hit their stride. ''Runaway'' boasts an instantly hummable chorus, while the Aerosmith-styled ''Train'' manages a nice swagger. C+
