WRITE AND WRONG In I Have Fun Everywhere I Go, Mike Edison engagingly details his life as an editor, punk rocker, and lawbreaker

Mike Edison has worked for magazines about sex (Screw, Penthouse Letters), beverages (Soft Drinks & Beer), and pot (he's a former publisher of High Times). ''That's not a résumé, that's a crime scene,'' he notes. I Have Fun Everywhere I Go has no shortage of illegal acts, as Edison recounts his narcotically influenced writing career and even more chemically blasted sideline as a punk-rock drummer. At times, he seems overly desperate to be un-PC, especially in his use of homophobic epithets. But mostly, he's an engaging, sardonic guide to some of magazinedom's more disreputable territories. B+
