Yet, somewhere along the way, you forget the somewhat unsettling setup and get drawn into the very unsexy, sprawling stories of three men waiting backstage for — ahem — their turn. Mr. 600 is an aging porn legend; Mr. 137, a disgraced TV star desperate to prove his machismo; and Mr. 72, an adopted young man eager to connect with the film's star. Snuff is unavoidably distasteful at times but ultimately hard to resist. A-
