(FROM VARIETY) – Ray Liotta and Steve Buscemi have joined Michael Cera (Juno, Superbad) in the cast of Youth in Revolt, a Dimension Films comedy based on C.D. Payne's popular novels. The story focuses on Nick Twisp (Cera), a sexually-obsessed teen who meets the girl of his dreams on a family vacation and destroys the trip trying to be with her. Buscemi plays Cera's father, and Liotta plays a cop having an affair with the teen's mom (Jean Smart). When the tryst comes to a messy end, the cop takes out his revenge by trying to nail Twisp for arson. Director Miguel Arteta (The Good Girl, Six Feet Under, Ugly Betty) is helming the project. Liotta will next be seen opposite Harrison Ford and Sean Penn in Wayne Kramer's Crossing Over and with Forest Whitaker and Jessica Alba in Powder Blue. Buscemi recently directed and starred in Interview, is recording a lead voice in Disney's G-Force, and just finished shooting John Rabe for German director Florian Gallenberger. (Variety)
