(FROM VARIETY) – Martin Scorsese has exited the authorized Bob Marley documentary that's in the works, citing scheduling conflicts. Jonathan Demme, who previously directed music-related projects like the Talking Heads' Stop Making Sense and Neil Young's Heart of Gold, has taken over the Tuff Gong/Shangri-La Marley film, set to be released on Feb. 6 2010, which would have been the late reggae singer's 65th birthday.
