NBC's series Lipstick Jungle follows three big-city gals who lead big-city lives: studio exec Wendy (Brooke Shields), designer Victory (Lindsay Price), and editor Nico (Kim Raver). The fashion is fabulous, but the early story lines e.g., a billionaire whisks Victory to Paris for dinner range from implausible to annoying. Jungle, just picked up for a second season, finds its way in the last few episodes when Nico's affair with a younger guy causes a heartfelt rift in the trio. EXTRAS For such a pedigreed project (it's based on Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell's novel), you'd expect commentaries, not just a few deleted scenes. C+
