(FROM HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) – Kelsey Grammer has been cast in ABC's pilot Roman's Empire, a comedy from Ashton Kutcher's Katalyst Films, CBS Paramount Network TV, and ABC Studios. The show, based on a British comedy of the same name, is about an eccentric billionaire (Nick Thune) who is dumped by his girlfriend (Christine Woods) but still can't seem to get away from her wealthy family. Grammer plays the ex-girlfriend's overbearing father, Roman, an eccentric billionaire. Shooting started this week. Grammer is coming off of his role in the canceled Fox comedy Back to You.
