The Scoop In the season 1 cliff-hanger of this series about life on an Army base in South Carolina, a bereaved sergeant strapped with explosives walked into a bar where military wives Claudia Joy (Kim Delaney), Denise (Catherine Bell), and Roxy (Sally Pressman) were gathered, and threatened to blow the place up. Will Claudia Joy die before seeing her daughter off to college? Will Denise lose the chance to forgive her abusive son? Will Roxy live to share more smooches with her hubby? A Soap in Soldier's Clothing While authenticity is nice, so are catfights. Fugate plans to bring in another yet-to-be-cast nemesis for the wives, as well as a new married couple. ''The one thing I hear more than anything about this show is that it's addictive,'' says Bell, whose conservative character will undergo her own transformation by dressing in sexy clothes and picking up a mysterious new hobby. ''Fans want to know what happens next.'' Lynette Rice
