Rainn Wilson Cast in 'Transformers 2'

(FROM HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) – Rainn Wilson has revealed to MTV that he has landed a small role in director Michael Bay's upcoming Transformers 2. Wilson will join returning stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, and John Turturro in the action flick — his first role in a big-budget franchise — playing one of LaBeouf's college professors. Discussions with Jonah Hill for another small role did not pan out. Wilson stars on NBC's The Office. He recently appeared in Juno and next stars in The Rocker, which opens Aug. 1. The writer-actor is currently working on the screenplay for Bonzai Shadowhands with Juno director Jason Reitman. (Hollywood Reporter)
