(FROM HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) - Shirley Manson, lead singer of the rock band Garbage, has been cast in the Fox series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. The Scottish actress-musician will play Catherine Weaver, the CEO of a cutting-edge high-tech company, when the show returns for a second season next fall. The series stars Lena Headey as Sarah Connor, Thomas Dekker as her son John Connor, and Summer Glau as terminator Cameron Phillips. It was the 2007-08 TV season's top-rated new scripted show. Garbage released its self-titled debut album in 1995, which spawned the hit ''I'm Only Happy When It Rains.'' Their most recent record came out in 2005. (Hollywood Reporter)
