Episode 75: ''To Market, to Market''

Carrie couldn't help but wonder... ''Why do we keep investing?''

Plot Carrie frets about her first official date with Berger, so she plans a ''sim-u-date'' with a graphic designer to calm her nerves; Miranda realizes she's in love with Steve (again); and shiksa goddess Charlotte considers converting to Judaism for Harry.

Creative casting Wallace Langham (CSI) as Carrie's awkward faux-date Willy.

Best sound bite ''I love the stock market. A room full of screaming, sweaty men all trying to get it up.'' —Samantha

Critique Carrie's pre-Berger encounter with Willy ekes out some chuckles thanks to a feisty pigeon, but the lackluster episode functions mainly as a bridge between season 5 and major plotlines to come. Props to Miranda, though, for maintaining her dignity when Brady's ''doody'' winds up on her forehead. B
