McBride Starring in 'Your Highness'

(FROM VARIETY) – Red hot comedic writer-actor Danny McBride (Pineapple Express) is starring in Universal's comedy Your Highness, which will be directed by David Gordon Green. The story, penned by McBride along with Ben Best (the two also wrote The Foot Fist Way), is about an arrogant, lazy prince (McBride) who must complete a quest to save his father's kingdom. Green's previous directing efforts include George Washington, Snow Angels, and All the Real Girls, which marked McBride's acting debut. The pair went to college together. McBride's other upcoming projects include the Ben Stiller-directed Tropic Thunder and Land of the Lost with Will Ferrell. (Hollywood Reporter)
