(FROM AP) - A Long Island home owned by rapper 50 Cent burned to the ground at about 5 a.m. Friday morning (May 30) in a fire that Dix Hills Fire Chief Larry Feld has deemed ''suspicious.'' 50's ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins and their 10-year-old son, Marquis, were taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation and were later released. 50 Cent was not present at the home at the time of the blaze, and no one was reported hurt. The house had been at the center of a dispute between 50 and Tompkins, who claims the hip hop star promised her the multimillion-dollar home but has since threatened to evict her. Later on Friday, Tompkins was seen in a video posted on TMZ's website alleging that she thinks 50 Cent may have something to do with the fire and that he told her he was going to send someone to kill her. 50's lawyer fired back saying allegations that his client had anything to do with the fire are ''outrageous and offensive.'' An arson unit is conducting in investigation into the blaze. (AP via Yahoo!)
