(FROM AP) – Transformers won best movie at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards, which took place Sunday night (June 1) in Universal City, CA. Online voters also made Johnny Depp a big winner, granting him awards for best comedic performance (Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End) and best villain (Sweeney Todd). Will Smith won best male performance for I Am Legend; Ellen Page won best female performance for Juno, Sean Faris and Cam Gigandet won best fight for their tangle in Never Back Down; and Briana Evigan and Robert Hoffman got best kiss for their liplock in Step Up 2 the Street. Other notable moments included Generation Award-winner Adam Sandler's performing an ode to himself with ''Nobody Does it Better'' (''Baby, I'm the best!''), Rainn Wilson presenting the best kiss award in the nude, and Pineapple Express stars Seth Rogen and James Franco smoking a fake joint from a bag of fake pot during their presentation of the best summer movie so far award.
