(FROM VARIETY) – Former American Idol contestant Katharine McPhee is starring with Wes Bentley (American Beauty, Ghost Rider) in the indie psychological drama The Storyteller, which is being directed by Robert Angelo Masciantonio (Cold Hearts). The story is about a writer (Bentley) who goes on a downward spiral when his father dies, promoting his assistant (McPhee) to investigate whether the muse and narrator for his stories (Anita Briem) is just a figment of his imagination.
