So does Wayne's World soundtrack album get the high five or does it hurl? That all depends, dude. It's kinda cool hearing classic stuff like Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" and Hendrix's "Foxy Lady" rub shoulders with the funk-o-mania of the Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Sikamikanico." But then there's Tia Carere, the movie's radical babe. Looks-wise, she's total schwing material, but her embarrassing cover of Sweet's 1975 hit "Ballroom Blitz" sucks donkeys, and her version of Dwight Twilley's "Why You Wanna Break My Heart" is majorly gimpish. If you're worthy, you already own albums by Queen and the other excellent bands on this disc (like Alice Cooper and Black Sabbath), so you might as well give this baby a big passareno. C
