(FROM VARIETY) — It's Janet... Ms. Jackson if you're looking for work. Janet Jackson and 25/7 Productions are developing a music and dance competition reality series to air on MTV. The singer will co-executive produce and star in the yet-untitled show, playing mentor to a group of aspiring performers, with the likely prize being a spot on her upcoming world tour, which begins Sept. 10. The program, which has already begun casting, will be shot on street locations rather than on a soundstage, says co-executive producer Dave Broome (The Biggest Loser). Jackson has been an increasingly ubiquitous presence on MTV in recent months, belying the supposed grudge some fans claimed the channel had against her after the embarrassment of her infamous ''wardrobe malfunction'' during the MTV-produced 2004 Super Bowl halftime show.
