(FROM THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) – Timothy Olyphant has joined FX's legal drama series Damages for its upcoming second season. The actor will play a man who gets entangled in the life of Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne) as she deals with her boss, Patty Hewes (Glenn Close), when the firm takes a new client (William Hurt). The debut season of Damages aired last summer, but while shooting on season 2 is underway, no return date has been announced. FX President John Landgraf has previously predicted that the show would not return until at least next January. (Hollywood Reporter)
