(FROM VARIETY) – Marcia Cross is starring in the indie comedy Peck for actor-turned-director Michael Nickles (This is Not a Film) and producer Jerry Leider (Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen). The project., which also stars Adam Arkin, Camryn Manheim, Keir Gilchrist, and Brie Larson, is Cross' first feature since joining Desperate Housewives. The story is about a high schooler who lives under strict parental scrutiny and develops an unlikely friendship with the school's golden girl. Shooting is scheduled to wrap this week. (Variety)
