(FROM THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) – Aidan Quinn (Canterburys's Law, Nine Lives) and Rutger Hauer (Batman Begins, Blade Runner) have joined the ensemble cast of ABC's upcoming drama pilot Prince of Motor City. The duo joins previously cast Piper Perabo, Andie MacDowell, Sharon Lawrence, John Carroll Lynch, Warren Christie, and Morris Chestnut. The story, inspired by Hamlet, centers on Billy Hamilton (Christie), a young Harvard professor who has to return to his hometown of Detroit to take over the family's auto company after his father's death. Quinn plays Billy's uncle Charlie, who always has been in his brother's shadow. Hauer plays Billy's father, William, who recently was killed in an accident and begins appearing to his estranged son as a ghost. (Hollywood Reporter)
