(FROM TV WEEK) – The Osbournes are set to follow-up their comedy-reality series on MTV by teaming with American Idol producers FremantleMedia North America for a new weekly variety show, according to TV Week. The project has reportedly already been pitched to multiple broadcast networks, with all four major nets expressing interest. The show would feature Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, and children Kelly and Jack are also expected to take part. Sharon is a judge on Fremantle's America's Got Talent. The new show's format is being kept under wraps, but TV Week reports that it is expected to be similar to international variety programs like the Spanish-language Sabado Gigante and Germany's Wanna Bet?, which blend elements of comedy, musical performance, and competition-style games.
