THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER

THE SCOOP ''It's 7th Heaven with sex,'' says creator Brenda Hampton. Yes, the creator of the WB series about a pastor's squeaky-clean family is now tackling teen pregnancy. Sort of a Juno Goes TV, Secret Life follows newly knocked-up Amy (Shailene Woodley), her baby's father, Ricky (Daren Kagasoff), and the guy she loves who isn't the dad, Ben (Kenny Baumann). There'll be plenty for parents as well: Amy's mom and dad (Molly Ringwald and John Schneider) are struggling with their marriage as well as their daughter's pregnancy.

NO TERM LIMITS ''I think she's going to be pregnant for a couple of seasons,'' Hampton says, ''because there are so many fun stories to tell. Maybe she's having a baby elephant.'' —Jennifer Armstrong
