(FROM THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) Young Jeezy's first movie role shouldn't be much of a stretch: he'll play a sought-after rapper in Janky Promoters, a film written by rapper-turned-filmmaker Ice Cube. Cube and Mike Epps will also star, as the shady, inept concert promoters of the title. Directing the Dimension Films release will be Marcus Raboy, who also directed Cube's comedy Friday After Next. Jeezy (real name: Jay Jenkins) topped the Billboard album chart in 2006 with The Inspiration; the rapper is currently preparing his third album, The Recession, for release on Def Jam.
