(FROM THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) Longtime Sopranos star Michael Imperioli is set to join the cast of Life on Mars, ABC's remake of the BBC series about a police detective who is transported back in time to 1973. Imperioli will play a tough fellow cop in the 1970s, who is unfamiliar with the concept of political correctness. His addition to Life on Mars is a nice piece of news to come in the wake of David E. Kelley's recent departure from the project. The show is due to air in the post-Grey's Anatomy time slot on Thursdays at 10 p.m. in the fall. (The Hollywood Reporter)
