Thriller Vantage Point probes the fractured perspectives of and karmic connections between several witnesses to an assassination: Think Crash meets 24. The frenetic action and Bourne-like car chases nearly compensate for a sliver of character and a telegraphed plot twist. And speaking of Bourne, in a doc and commentary, director Pete Travis cites the Paul Greengrass films and such stylistic inspirations as The French Connection. The two-disc edition offers one unique EXTRA: a digital copy to download onto a laptop, PS3, or PSP. B-
