This ode to Gen-Rx finds rich high schooler Charlie (Yelchin) playing shrink in the boys' bathroom. Charlie Bartlett is all fun and games until the last 20 schmaltzy minutes. Director Jon Poll's commentaries prove both silly and serious. His shot-by-shot info-fest with writer Gustin Nash is heavy — in a good way. B-
