Report: Success for Abrams' 'Fringe'

(FROM HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) – Horizon Media's annual TV report predicts that J.J. Abrams' Fox thriller Fringe and Jerry Bruckheimer's CBS drama Eleventh Hour will be the highest-rated new shows this fall, while NBC's Kath & Kim (which stars Molly Shannon) and CBS' Worst Week will struggle. Horizon's report, which includes speculative estimates of how every broadcast show will fare in the fall, also predicts that Heroes, Survivor, and Grey's Anatomy will continue to reign in their respective time slots, and that Fox's sitcom Under the Radar will break out. The CW's new Beverly Hills 90210 spinoff is expected to beat Gossip Girl, but not do well enough to boost the network's overall standing in the ratings. David E. Kelley's upcoming drama Life on Mars is listed in the report as next fall's third-highest-rated new show, but it is also expected to continue ABC's streak of coming in last place at 10 p.m. Thursdays despite its Grey's lead-in.
