(FROM THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) – Amy Poehler is reportedly in negotiations for a starring role in NBC's upcoming spinoff of The Office. Little has been revealed about the new show other than the casting of Aziz Ansari (Human Giant), but it has been rumored that it will be built around a big-name star similar to the way the original Office was built around Steve Carell. Poehler has been mentioned as a possibility for the project as far back as April, and if she does land the role, she would likely leave the cast of Saturday Night Live. One scheduling issue is that Poehler is due to give birth this fall, and the Office spinoff is slated to debut in early February, though that might change. Poehler recently starred with Tina Fey in Baby Mama. (Hollywood Reporter)
