Some of Hollywood's well-heeled are thinking beyond pedicures and platforms. To wit: toe rings, now showing up on the likes of Laura Dern, Tori Spelling, and Brandy. Ditto Moesha's Sheryl Lee Ralph, who found an 18-karat-gold elephant-shaped ring in Thailand two years ago. ''It was for a child's finger,'' recalls Ralph. ''When I slid it onto my toe, the jeweler looked at me like I was crazy.'' The rings have actually gone mainstream, according to Mary Kara, co-owner of Venice, Calif.'s The Psychic Eye Bookstore, where Brandy bought her toe band. Still, says Kara, ''you're not going to see these on a banker or politician.''
