(FROM THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) - Joel Surnow, co-creator of Fox's 24, received the green light from TNT for his gritty new drama pilot Night and Day. The show is about an agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. It is Surnow's first series project since he departed 24 in February after seven years. Surnow and Todd Robinson wrote the script and will executive produce. Robinson's credits include the features Lonely Hearts and White Squall. He also recently wrapped production on The Last Full Measure, which stars Morgan Freeman, Bruce Willis, and Laurence Fishburne. (Hollywood Reporter)
