Since 2001, Sage Sohier has photographed people with unusual hobbies and obsessions, like one man who collects miniature WWII figurines. ''[The subjects] were so happy to share their playfulness with me,'' says Sohier, 54, who collects her work in Perfectible Worlds (Photolucida, $24). ''[They] were like, 'Come play with me in my world.'''
