The ever-nuttier Julian Cope has always dug rock's hippest cult heroes — Tim Buckley, Arthur Lee, Scott Walker, ad obscurem — and this time he's on a new kick: '70s German space-rockers like Can and Neu. Jehovahkill sounds like a guy with great taste having an orgy in a recording studio — and echoing everybody he's ever liked in the process. Bless his burnt-out heart. B+
