Season 5 of Boston Legal will be its last, and things kick off with the firm taking a case against Big Tobacco. "It seems like we just have one long list of axes to grind," says exec producer Bill D'Elia. "But we feel like someone should be talking about these things." This case at least has a romantic angle: Alan (James Spader) is facing off against an old flame, played by Ally Walker (Tell Me You Love Me). "This one he carries quite a torch for," adds D'Elia. He admits the writers have yet to decide on how to end the series, but assures fans that Alan and Denny (William Shatner) will likely be left on their usual perch overlooking Boston: ''I can't imagine the last scene wouldn't be a balcony scene.''
