9-10PM · CBS · Returns Sept. 28
If you liked season 1 of Cold Case, you will love season 6! "We're bringing it back to its roots," says exec producer Jennifer Johnson. "A lot more investigative work, a lot more focus on our cops. Bringing back some humor, some levity." Cases in point: Vera (Jeremy Ratchford) gets stuck going on a date to Wicked, Rush (Kathryn Morris) goes bowling with guest star Bobby Cannavale, and the cops get swept up in a string of practical jokes. Okay, but it ain't all dribble cups and saran-wrapped toilets. "Guess what, [Philly cops] are badasses," Johnson says. "They're a little bit like Dirty Harry. So our cops are becoming much more badass."
