Grey's Anatomy: Season 4 (2008)

In possibly their whiniest season, the Seattle Grace M.D.s had plenty to moan about — multiple breakups, crazy girlfriends, demotions, divorce. There were a few bright spots amid the Grey: intriguing new female docs, like the awkward but endearing Lexie (Chyler Leigh); the long-awaited — hopefully lasting — reconciliation of Derek (Patrick Dempsey) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo); that cliff-hanger lesbian kiss. The DVD EXTRAS, though, are pretty whatever. A featurette on the McDreamy-McSteamy ''bromance'' — Dempsey and Eric Dane dissect their characters' relationship (and their hair) — is fun, if fluffy. But commentary without Pompeo and Heigl? Seriously? B-
