(FROM AP) — Lauren Conrad, the 22-year-old star of MTV's The Hills, has landed a deal that will have her pen a three-book, young adult fiction series for HarperCollins. The series will be titled L.A. Candy and will be loosely based on Conrad's transformation into a ''reality'' TV star and fashion designer. The first book is scheduled to release in summer 2009. (AP via Yahoo!)
