You probably have to love Madonna to appreciate fully this extremely well done, exceptionally mean parody of the singer and her Truth or Daredocumentary. Julie Brown, who used to shake her bustier on MTV's Just Say Julie, plays Medusa, a bratty, dim- witted superstar launching her "Blonde Leading the Blonde" tour in, she says in an earnest voice-over, ''Asia, a foreign country.'' In this pseudodocumentary, we see the furious Medusa berating her clumsy dancers ("Do you know how almost-fired you are?") and castigating her road manager (Get a Life's Chris Elliott) for the shoddiness of the stage props (''I swear, Medusa, that's just the rehearsal penis''). We watch Medusa in concert, performing hits like ''Everybody Be Excited'' (''Happy days and happy nights/In between my creamy thighs''). In the tradition of This Is Spinal Tap, Medusa criticizes rock-world excess by reveling in it; I'd be very surprised if Madonna herself doesn't laugh heartily. A-
